Mixed media canvas

Image
My totally gorgeous and wonderfully talented friend Mary http://mbennetts.blogspot.com.au/ made this stunning canvas for me as a chrissy present.  This was the first one that she made like this ever and omg did she do an amazing job, I was totally blown away by the detail, colours and title. She used lots of gorgeous pps, napkins, gesso and created something that is so wonderful and orginal that I will cherish it (and her friendship) for always. Love you Mary, hugs xo

I would like to share some pages with you, two I did a little while ago, while the last one is recent. First up is a page of my stunning cousin Indigo, adored this pic when I saw it on my cousin Sandras' page and just had to scrap it. Next is the layout for the Christmas Challenge at Scrap that Song http://scrapthatsong.blogspot.com/ . I chose one of my fav chrissy carols "Deck the Halls" and scrapped this cute pic of my little great neice Lailah. The pic was perfect for the line in the carol "don ye now our gay apparel" which is what parents

I thought I would start with some pics of my craft room. I am very fortunate that from a bad situation something very positive came out of it and that was that i finally have a designated room for my craft. It had been in the kitchen, then the lounge and wherever else i could fit in. As i don't have a very bit house lot's of stuff laying around really doesn't help with the creativity. Now I have a room that is all mine, it has nothing but all my craft products in it, a comfy lounge, tv and stereo (birthday pressies from my brother) but as you all would relate to, never enough storage space. Having the desk in front of the window gives me so much gorgeous natural light to work with, and a nice view out (well put those pics up further down) plus it doesn't take up precious wall space. The small unit on the table is
