Layouts

I would like to share some pages with you, two I did a little while ago, while the last one is recent.
First up is a page of my stunning cousin Indigo, adored this pic when I saw it on my cousin Sandras' page and just had to scrap it. The pic was taken by a family friend Karen and I love how she kept/added the detail of the flower in her hair.
Used lots of yummies on this, prima flower, alphas and beautiful resin bird, craft queen ribbon and lovely chippie gates (can't remember whose they are) I had two copies of this pic printed so I used the spare, fussy cut out the flower and added it to the page, gives an extra dimension to the photo.

Next is the layout for the Christmas Challenge at Scrap that Song http://scrapthatsong.blogspot.com/. I chose one of my fav chrissy carols "Deck the Halls" and scrapped this cute pic of my little great neice Lailah. The pic was perfect for the line in the carol "don ye now our gay apparel" which is what parents do when it's time for the Santa photos.

I used some Kaiser pp and embellies from the Christmas embellie kit from my2angels http://www.my2angels.net/index.html, if you haven't checked out their kits you should they are the best value. Added some glitz to the gorgeous flowers and was pretty happy with how the banner turned out.

Last but by no mean least is my example for the January Challenge at Scrap that Song http://scrapthatsong.blogspot.com/ the challenge was nursery rthymes and I found that I knew exactly which picture I wanted to do. This is my son Shaun caught in the act of raiding the cupboard to get to the milk arrowroot biscuits, which were his fav at that age. He always reminded me of Little Jack Corner sitting in the corner.

Used Santa Baby glimmer mist and a prima stencil, another handmade banner, felties from the very generous Susan Maguire, embossed cs from the Boys only emblishment kit http://www.my2angels.net/p/7551/Boys-ONLY-Embellishment-Kit.html, from my2angels and the sweetest little button from our sponsor for the month -Sue from http://soupie75.blogspot.com Lovelybug Bits n Bobs.
The little teddy bear was just perfect and suited the colours on the page.

Well except for a page that I can't show yet but keep an eye on http://scrapthatsong.blogspot.com/ that is me up to date with layouts.

Will be back tomorrow to share some, until then hugs and love Annette xo
